Do you love the Dunedin Botanic Gardens? Want to join our fun, dynamic & friendly volunteer team? Volunteering at the Botanic Garden Information Centre is a great way to meet new people, gain work experience, interact with our overseas visitors, practice skills relating to customer service, retail and tourism & to promote the garden we all love so much.

The Dunedin Botanic Garden Information Centre has volunteer opportunities /work experience available 363 days a year.
  • Shifts available are 10-1 and 1-4, 7 days a week excluding Christmas Day and Good Friday.
  • Tour guiding opportunities within Botanic Gardens also available.
  • Enjoy fun, interactive newsletters.
  • Learn about the history of New Zealand’s oldest Botanic Garden.
  • Join our prestigious team & be one of the “faces” of the Garden, the first point of contact for most visitors.
