Members-only Tour of Doctor's Point Garden
| The Friends of the Dunedin Botanic Garden are very lucky to have been invited by Dylan Norfield, the Collections Supervisor at the Botanic Garden, to view his garden at Doctor's Point. This Garden has recently been named as a five-star Garden of National Significance by the New Zealand Gardens Trust. Dylan has developed the garden over 18 years from gorse and wildling pines and now has 1300 species and cultivars of native and exptic plants, many very rare. Sub-tropical plants are found alongside hardy species, Bananas to Trilliums, native alpines to carnivorous Sarracenia, continental Chinese trees to Cacti and succulents.
